Kittens Playing on a Cart Julius Adam Needlepoint Canvas by Orchidea 3629Q

Stitch Kittens Playing on a Cart, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a litter of tabby kittens climbs over an old blue handcart in a farmyard meadow.

A little stitcher's folklore: Julius Adam was a German painter so famous for kittens that he was nicknamed Katzen-Adam.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Julius Adam's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 40×60 cm (15.7×23.6 in). A playful art piece for a cat lover.
