Unexpected Cabin Guest Moose at the Window Counted Cross Stitch Kit by Luca-S B731L

Stitch Unexpected Cabin Guest, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — a big moose pokes its head through the open window of a log cabin, a red apple in its mouth, beside a basket of apples, a jar of wildflowers and a rose-patterned tea set on a lace doily, with blue checked curtains and the mountains beyond.

A little stitcher's folklore: cabin owners say if you leave the window open in apple season, you never know who will drop in for tea.

Why this kit: a funny, charming wildlife scene with 63 colours for shaggy fur, warm log walls and delicate china — a conversation piece and a rewarding Gold Collection project.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 63 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work one chart page at a time, starting with the moose, then the table, tea set and flowers, and finish with the curtains, log walls and mountain view.

Finished size: 43×32 cm (16.8×12.5 in). A smile-raising picture for the kitchen or a cabin wall and a fun gift for moose and wildlife fans.
