A little stitcher's folklore: 'God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen', which promises 'tidings of comfort and joy', is one of the oldest carols still sung in England.
Why this kit: based on artwork by Hannah Dale of Wrendale Designs, it is stitched on Aida printed with exclusive Wrendale background artwork, so the scene is already softly coloured before you begin.
Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida printed with exclusive Wrendale Designs background artwork, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch and back stitch. A frame is not included.
Stitch the animals in cross stitch from the centre, then add the outlines in back stitch.
