Fly Agaric Mushrooms Felt Decoration Sewing Kit by VDV FN-140

A little woodland scene: two large red-capped, white-spotted fly agaric mushrooms with ruffled white gills and a small beaded red mushroom, all standing on a green felt grass base scattered with beads and sequins.

Why this kit: a free-standing 20x16 cm scene rather than a single flat toy; ruffled gills and bead-dotted caps give a realistic, dimensional finish; all the felt, floss, beads, and filling come in the kit along with sewing instructions.

Kit includes: felt, cotton floss, Preciosa beads, sequins, a Pony needle, hollowfiber filling, and instructions. Finished size: 20x16 cm (7.87x6.3 in). Made in Ukraine.

Following the instructions, the felt pieces are cut out, decorated with embroidery stitches, beads, and sequins, then joined with neat edge stitching and stuffed with the hollowfiber filling to give the finished piece its soft, rounded shape.

An intermediate sewing project that children can enjoy with some help from an adult, and a whimsical accent for a shelf, table, or autumn display.
